The importance of data security constantly rose with the further development of
information technologies, because of simplifying and increase of effectiveness of
data acquisition, storage, communication and data evaluation. Private Data Safe
comprehensively protects files, folders and programs by the assignment of access
rights for read, run, modify and delete data and program files. All access attempts
can be comfortably supervised and notified. Beyond that it grants an extra data safe
for important data such as passwords for online banking, secure access codes and
other confidential information.

No special virtual drives required, the data protection takes place directly in the
file system. The file and disk structure remains unchanged.

Encrypted archives allow the safe transfer for any number of files via e-mail or on
any data media. Private Data Safe does not have to be installed on the target
computer in order to extract the files there. The decoding is settled after password
input in a \"thin client\" - a small program being transferred together with a data.
This client requires no installation. Alternatively self extracting archives can be
provided.
